WTB Bucket seat tracks
« on: May 01, 2016, 02:42:51 PM »
Anyone have a set of bucket seat tracks? (Both seats) I've got some but they aren't usable.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Fred Z.

Fred - Oh boy, mine are not in very good shape. Lots of rust and are most certainly locked up. I think with some work they could be salvaged. Can take a pic of you like.

Does anyone know if the other A-Body cars are the same?

Fred,

Pretty sure all the a-bodies, 64 and 65, had the same tracks.
You might check the Chev/Pontiac suppliers, they may make them repro.

I just pulled a pair off a bench seat.  From first look, they look to be the same as the what is used on the bucket seat. I'll have to dig out a bucket seat and compare more closely.
Unfortunately, it would work for a driver seat only and the lock for the other side would have to be removed.
