trying to order seat covers

So when I they tried to order the seat covers for my 65 gs from legendary they don,t list a black rear seat cover , only the fronts .
I called them and they said black was,t an option for a 2 dr hard top .

Call back and ask for someone who knows something (he says subtly).  The back seat in my 65 GS hardtop has black Legendary seat covers on it as do some others on this site. Why would they even offer black front seat covers and not rears ?

Make sure they know you are talking a Gran Sport and not a Skylark.

Well , I called back and talked to corey , I was very specific telling him it was GS 2dr hd top , even gave him the trim code ( 158-B      J-2 Paint . )
He tried telling that there was only 3 colors available for the hd top and black was,t one of them .
He did say they would get it figured out and that I should call back tomorrow

ASK for a discount, they may just give you one. It depends on how busy they are. I'll guess Dec-Jan is slow, hence the larger discounts.
Someone mentioned a July 4th sale. Thought they had a Memorial day sale too.

Does anyone get e-mail notifications of their sales? I only get a postcard once a year...

I should clarify something , the web site DOES list the front seats ( black w/ buttons on the back ) but then they listed the back seat for convertibles and not a hard top .
He said they can make them but it was more money because they had to make them .
Thats hog wash !!!!!

literature about that, maybe he doesn't remember.

I had the same thing with Corey in January I also told about the silver headliner . He had no idea that silver is unique to a GS. After a number of discussions I thought maybe black interior was no longer a issue .

I don,t have a catalog , but thats the page Corey was looking at and it says the black 100G was not available in rear for the gs for 65 . 
Anyway He never called me back today and I was to busy to give him a call .
Dan , soon as I call him back I will send him that info . I will get it figured out I just don,t feel like paying extra money for something I KNOW they have .

It,s kinda quiet in here . 
Update on ordering seat covers .  Talked to the Corey at Legendary now everyday this week , even sent photo of trim tag and literature from Dan on interior options .
Still nothing !!!!
