The 65 GTO outer wheel housings actually work better for this, you will
Have to cut them in 3 or 4 pieces and graph it into the lip!

Hey Chuck!  Have I gotta deal for you!!    SHort story:

Long time Buick Service Technician In Sarasota, from 1966 up till 2003 started building a monster 425, factory 2x4 setup, linkages, factory 425 pistons, special gound cam, serious head work and every little detail was performed under HIS Buick watchful eye technical supervision.  He wasted NO EXPENSE on this motor and built it with the intent of droppin it into 1930 Ford pickup...
This motor has been run every month and has about 30 hours time, on an engine stand. The fello is elderly and decided to finish his 66 Chevelle SS 4 speed and this motor is gotta go.  I have worked a fairly reasonable deal with him on the motor AND 3 complete 4 speed Buick consolettes w/tachs...  I am making monthly payments on the motor and should have it here in a few weeks.

I have a vid of it running if you want to hear it...  Email me.

Here is a pix:

This motor would make an awesome sleeper candidate for your car...  behind a tremec 5 speed..... Posi, and Budnik ICE 18" wheels....ooooooyaeeah.

Anyway, contact me if interested.

PM sent!

Just a little update. I ended up selling 64 skylark because there was just to much body damage and there is no good option for quarter panels for that car. I made $700 profit on the car and went out and bought a 66 skylark for $1500. This car has no body rust and is in fairly good condition. It also came with extra 71 Buick 455 bigblock. I like this body style a lot more and feel like I got a really good deal. Here was the post https://boise.craigslist.org/cto/5451173362.html . The car is in better condition then it looks. The doors and trunk are shaved and have electric poppers.

Congrats on buying a '66! :occasion14:
Judging by the front fender trim and the lack of rocker panel and wheelwell trim, it might be a Special, not a Skylark. Or is the rocker trim removed? They're basically the same car, just different trim levels.
There are a few 66 owners here too, so stick around!
