Seals and weatherstripping
« on: February 09, 2016, 12:30:58 PM »
So who makes the best seals and weatherstripping for our cars?  Steele?  Metro?  SoffSeal?  Others?  I believe I've read of some fit issues with some of these products and would like to avoid that as much as possible.

Thanks!

Chuck,

Just about everything I used was Steele, except for the vent wing seals. I didn't like the appearance, so I used Metro for those.
All the weather seal stuff went on great, except the vent wings. Those you need to disassemble, and it pays to rechrome, polish, etc.
all the pieces for those. Getting the weatherstrip together for them while you reassemble is a PITA... just ask Rob and Tony!
