GS Air Cleaner

I recently dug out my air cleaners so I could ship one to Richard and one of my chrome ones had a chrome plated cover, not factory of course. I ordered the new Cars reproduction decal and just set it on there with some tape and it looks pretty good. I think I'm going to do that and use it on one of the cars. Pictures of the lid with and without the decal below. I will use it with one of the chrome air cleaners, not a black one.

Dear Jim and mid-60s Buick fans of so much chrome you need to wear sunglasses to look into the engine bay!

Thanks for sharing!   Perhaps it isn't original, but Buick didn't seem to understand that - OUR - cars weren't run of the mill factory offering and needed a whole lot more - luv - to be happy!

. . . After all, if every Buick that rolled off the line in 1965 looked as beautiful as our cars, they most of then would have survived and they wouldn't be worth a dime! . . .

Mark, I just checked the invoice and it was 8/20/15. I ordered a couple of them, looks like they went up now.

You better check on them, mine were here 9/5.

Oh, I got the two I ordered, but they were damaged. Been trying to get replacements ever since with no luck.
