Salvage yard trip
« on: December 04, 2015, 05:47:34 PM »
I think it has been more then 10 years since my last salvage yard adventure trip.

When Bill asked if I would be interested in accompanying he and another Buick pal, I jumped at it.  Thinking it would be not be anything more then a fun day with fellow Buick pals, I had no expectations of finding '65 parts. Well I was wrong about that and may have to go back again soon.

Thanks Bill and Rob for a fantastic fun day,

Sounds fun .
Junk yards are a blast , it,s just hard to find any that have older vehicles in them anymore .
I have one I go to in Wisc. that is full of old cars . I actually spent 2 full days there once .

Loren, I think we all had a nice day of R&R, even the short side trip to Kansas, but we can blame the GPS. I had not been to that yard for at least 20 years. There must have been at least 12 65/72 Skylarks/Specials. Its always a good day when everybody buys some parts. Thanks for the company, Thanks Bill.
