Which type is correct for a '65--the first type as reproduced here, or the second type that has a formed sheet metal piece instead of the block for the bolt to slide in?  The setup on my '65 has the 2nd type on it.
'64 Skylark 2dr ht 4 speed, 300-4
'65 GS ht, 4 speed,2-4s,AC,PS,PB,PW,Pseat,Tilt

Jon,

Very nicely done. I knew you planned to reproduce them, but hadn't seen where you were marketing them. Glad that you listed them here on the website. Very well done.

Brian,

Here's a bulletin from March 12, 1965. I'd think that either style would be correct for our '65s.

John

John ,thanks for posting the bulletin, I could not get it to come up ! to answer Brain's question both linkages are correct! the first type was used on the 64-65 set-ups, the second was used as a replacement in 65 and used for the 66 setups! Jon

Any chance you have these measurements? I?m helping @Wheelspin do the installation. Pedal to floor the carbs are half open only. Weber copies of Carters from Edelbrock. I know the fix. Measurements would help pickup some time.
If it?s squeaking it?s still working.

So the approximate length is 9 inches back of bolt head to center of rear clip which goes over the ball stud! The length is subject to adjustment and in 65 there were 2 different front carbs that had lever arms that were different in height! A early and later carb so the length would even be different on these!
