By the way there is a column shift tilt column in the car that looks 100% original except the steering wheel, would that show on the option code for a Skylark 1965?

Well if they are not the light blue metallic ones (and I assume they are not), the vinyl cover does not need to be nice at all as long as the frame and maybe padding is decent and could be re-covered without a full rebuild.

Every set of seats I have seen that are not in a car needed a complete rebuild. Of course the price reflected that at about $250 for a set. You would have to ask Loren if he has any that are as nice as you are looking for. If you want the blue covers and something that sits nice to cruise in I would suggest a full rebuild.

Yes I do have a few sets of seats that are basically cores for rebuild.  Let me know if you are interested.

Really should start finding new homes for some of this stuff. LOL

I will get back with you as soon as I have checked with my source down here in TX, thx for replying though.
Understand Dan, I was lucky with my Skylark seats that I could use the padding (padding for 2 passenger seats though).
Who would be the best supplier for the seat covers and padding? I used OPGI for the Skylark but do not like the quality
of the vinyl (bought door sides and seat covers from OPGI but with a slight color differens, metallic red).

The best supplier for our Skylarks is probably Legendary. The foam can be either Legendary or Al Knoch (near El Paso TX and they sell foam kits for 'A body's'). Loren used their foam in a set of seats and liked them. Believe they also will build the seats for you. Will let someone more knowledgeable than me recommend padding, etc.

Legendary periodically has 20 % off sales (one is on now but ends today) and that is really the time to buy. Always have a sale on around year-end.

I agree it is fun to fix 'em, but it also a lot of fun to drive 'em!

Well...Eduoard I need parts before I can get over the hill so to speak, the Blue wagon needed frame work and with 2 wagons sitting here at Skylark Heaven in TX it was easier to swap frames.

Jim, that is not me on the picture, but I was as happy.... it is always a great day when you can drive up to Mr. Skylark....Mark Polastry and pick his inventory, just be around this gentleman is a great experience.....

Amazing how green things get in the Austin area with just a couple of feet of rain. LOL

Nice 65 Sporty I have had mine 7 years put 40,000 miles on her it currently has a 350SBB 2004R 3.31 posi and works great but ill either have to go to 3.73 diff or put one of my TH350's with my Gear Vendors OD unit behind it  the ideal final drive for Buicks with a26" tire I found is 2.5-2.56

Thanks for sharing the additional pictures!  I see we have a very similar setup for our additional gauges.  Great minds think alike? 
Of course, there aren't many alternatives either!

Those were just the ones I took to that particular show that day I had many more   im down to 11 right now  having with a hard time with such a small fleet hahahahaha
