Been Lurking for years!

I have owned a 1965 Buick Skylark Sport coupe for over ten years now and have been lurking in the back ground on this site awhile now. My dream was to own a 65 Gran Sport Convertible. About two months ago the wife http://gransports.com/board/Smileys//Lots_O_Smileys/love4.gif and I went to a local cruise night, we made the rounds and when we got back to our car there was a 65 Gran Sport convertible parked beside it. I told the gentleman that he owned my dream car! That lit my fire. I started searching Ebay, Craigslist, 65GS.com for a GS in my area (New England) and was surprised to find there were many. Very long story short(a least a six pack) , I found a 65 GS, white with a black convertible top in Vermont that I could afford. It's in fair condition needing body work and paint, but it is a true GS. Glad to be aboard I won't have to lurk any longer!!! Picked it up Tuesday Put the plates on today and off to its first cruse night, where we met the same gentleman with the convertible GS. It is a lot of fun to drive, my first big block.
It's an automatic. Original interior code was 154(white or Ivory?) but it has all new black leather seats new interior door panels and carpets   
5 new tires and shocks
New dual exhaust
Needs body work and paint, and a new convertible top
Non numbers matching engine but it runs strong
I bought it from a man named Dick

No one should feel like they need to " lurk in the back ground". LOL  We are all here because of our appreciation for the best years of Buick, no matter the cubic displacement.
