Jim ,  that looks like an early Buick , Olds , Pontiac  ( BOP ) V8  bell housing . Excluding nail heads of course .

I believe you're right John. It was in with my nailhead stuff but might be from a 67 GTO. Maybe someone here could use it?

Note that this one has provisions for the starter on the left or right side, so it fits numerous applications.
The early Buick ones only have the starter bump on the passenger side.... will fit V6 thru 455 (ex Nailhead).
The '66 one I have is pn 9774035.
I can't make out the number on yours, but you should be able to ID it via Google or eBay.
