decoding the block numbers/letters by the valley pan ?

I,m trying to decode a couple engine blocks and I understand the first 2 letters ( LT) and the 3rd set ( 333 ) but can,t seem to find the 3rd set
( 5H931145 )  any help would be much appreciated .

the 5H931145 should match the last portion of the V.I.N of the car the engine was originally in.

John, the LT means 401 engine , the 5 is the year 1965 in this case , the
H is for Flint and the 931145 is the vin number most likely
Not a Skylark GS as it is a high number and most GS's with
The LT coded motors where early cars most all other GS's
Were coded LR

gssizzler ,  Thanks , thats what I thought . Knew I read something about the letter and 1st number meaning something specific just couldn,t remember where I seen it .

Think the 9 in that vin place makes it from a  Riv.
