Just finishing the front suspension and going to start on the fuel and brake lines on the 66 GS and was wondering what the finish was on the steel part of the front brake brass line block, where the master line, hooks to the 2 front, and 1 rear line, was it just raw steel, dark gray phosphate, or satin black? Thanks Bill.

Bill,

Best I can tell, it was just bare steel. Shoot some Seymours Stainless Steel on it doesn't rust and you're good to go. Once the car is altogether, that area is hard to see.
