Removal of consolette
« on: June 04, 2009, 11:26:44 AM »
I see it has a top and bottom section and it appears the top is somehow clipped to the bottom.  I tried prying up on the top, just with my hands, but it didn't break loose and I don't want to break anything.  Those of you with experience on this, how should the top be taken off?

Thanks!

Hope these help. I believe you remove the two nuts/bolts in the front and then slide the upper half forward to disengage it from the rear tabs.

Thanks a ton.  I searched my service manuals and couldn't find this.

Much appreciated!
