Is there a resource to verify vin and cowl tag numbers like Pontiac's Historical Society?

The closest we have would be the Sloan Museum in Flint.
I don't believe they will have specific VIN info for the 65's. They do have some for 1970 models.
Most of that info was lost or destroyed long ago....
It's a long shot, but if the dealership that sold your car still exists, they might have old files tucked away in an attic.
