No, don't buy that one, it's for a small block car, not a GS.
The GS had wider radiator tanks and the rad cover accommodates longer insulators..... for a GS, the insulator bump should extend a little past the mounting hole embossment. The small block ones extend only  to the end of that embossment. (hope that makes sense!)
Some small block cars with HD cooling and/or air conditioning used the wide-tank covers.
'67 GS covers are different than 65-66 too.

I have one I will sell.  I will have to dig it out.  Came off of a 65 non-AC car.

Just took a pic of the difference.
66 GS cover (right) next to 66 300 cover. Insulator holes on the GS cover are 3-1/2" apart and 2-3/4" on the 300 cover.
Posted this on V8 too since that cover didn't look right either. Brian will sell you one that's correct!

One small tid-bit to add to what Walt just said.  If you find a 66 Skylark with the 340 4-bbl engine and factory AC, it came with a 4-row radiator and the top plate is the same as the one in the GS.  Not too many of those around, but if you find one, the top plate is the same.

.....and to add to what Brian said!....

Looking at the '66 parts book, we have:
Group 1.270
pn 1373204
Panel, Radiator upper mounting
'65-66 GS with 400(401) engine
'66 Special/Skylark with HD cooling
'66 Special/Skylark with 340 engine and A/C or A/C modification
'66 Special/Sportwagon with A/C or A/C modification

'67 went to pn1381192 for GS and similar HD applications

Harle, Walt and Brian,

I really messed up on this one. Even the second one the guy had was wrong, that's the one I meant to post. Thank goodness we have Walt and Brian as our resident gurus. Harle, I sent you a personal message this afternoon. Again, my apologies.

I dug through all my parts tonight and could not find the top plate and finger guard.  I must have sold them at some point in the past and forgot about it.  Sorry for chiming in before I double checked.

Harle, I have a radiator top, no extra finger guards that I can find. It is the GS one. Needs striped and repainted, $20.00 plus the shipping. I can post pictures if you are interested. Thanks Bill.
