gurgling cooling system
« on: September 17, 2014, 05:48:09 AM »
Hello, my cooling system has a continuing gurgle.  I have tried to burp it many times.  Some how it continues to get air in the system.  Did the 65 lark have an overflow container?

Ok, no overflow tank.  Any suggestions to why and is there a fix?
Thanks Dave

Is it gurgling all of the time it is running?  If so, that sounds like a blown head gasket letting compression from a cylinder get into the coolant system.
If it is just gurgling when you shut it down, that sounds like it is getting too hot.
