OK thanks Bobby.  Let me know if you find the fitting.  I'll check my exhaust manifold and see if I can find a clip for it.  I can also check my carb for fitting as well.  Steve

Believe the 'fitting' from the tube to the carburetor is a rubber hose.

The choke tubes are just 1/4" steel brake line, easy to make. One in the back slides into the heat tube in the exhaust manifold (rear) and attaches to the very top of the carb via a short length (2") of rubber hose. It's purpose is to supply filtered air to the choke.
The front tubes slides into the front of the ex manifold heat tube and attaches to the carb'd choke using a standard plumbing/hardware store fitting. It's purpose is to supply hot air to the choke.
I thought I saw pics in one of the 65/66 chassis manuals, but maybe I'm thinking of the 300 engine.

Pics of both tubes. 3 pics of the "back" tube. There is a clip for the choke heat tube in the manifold,
I saw the first one I've ever seen on Rob Keena's car this past weekend.

Wow - thanks for all this information guys.  This site is a great resource.  Bobby, I will take those parts.  I'll send you a PM shortly.  I saw a couple videos of your restoration.  Very nice car.  (and nice videos)  I hope car turns out like that!  Steve

Steve
Are the delux moldings for the top of the doors and Quarter panels you are looking for approx. 1" wide?
Also are they for the hardtop or 2 dr sdn? I have a set for the hardtop. Found out how HOT they can get in the summer on a bare arm. The ones I have are anodized alum., not stainless.

Alan, the parts you have are specific to the hardtop body.

Each body style uses a specific molding for this part. The convertible uses stainless, whereas the hardtop and thin pillar coupe are anodized aluminum pieces.

Thanks Alan and John.  I am going to buy the set of stainless wide belt line moldings from John.  Am buying the vacuum tubes & clip from Bobby.

Mark, very nice engine compartment!  That looks clean and factory fresh.  Where do you buy the 'sock' for the vacuum tube that goes from carb to the passenger exhaust manifold?

My list is getting shorter.  Am still looking for
- clips to hold porthole vents to fender (previous owner disassembled part of the car and then lost theses clips)
- nice right tail light
- 'rounded' clips that mount on intake to hold heater hose to top of engine
- original positive battery cable
- power seat
- tilt column
- nice chrome pieces - grille, headlight surrounds, ...
- original black GS 4 speed shift ball without the shift pattern
- ac parts
- power windows for convertible
