As some of you may know I purchased a 65 GS on eBay last fall. I have been in the car hobby for over 40 years and had never bought a car sight unseen. Sorry to say The car was grossly misrepresented by the seller and while i didn't know it then as it turns out he is a forum member.
It was a bitter lesson and I was left wondering if all you Buick guys were the same.
Needing some hard to find parts i decided to take the plunge and post on the "parts needed" section of the forum. I got an immediate response from a few members. One in particular was Jon Thompson who not only had what I needed but priced it more than fairly, shipped it immediately in a safe package and was in general a super guy to deal with. A big thanks to Jon as well as the other guys who tried to help!
