Front Park Light ?

I looked at 4 65 GS's today side by side. It appears that 2 had smaller front park lights and 2 larger. Can someone chime in for the reason that this would be? Was there a mid year change? The owner says they are all original. I have 2 bumpers at home and they have the smaller version in them.

The smaller holes belong to a Special/Sportwagon bumper. Skylarks had the larger opening.
The smaller parking light bumper wouldn't be original to a GS. The front bumpers are pretty
fragile (in my opinion) I can imagine a good number of originals were changed out. Decent
front bumper cores are pretty hard to find now.

There is a fellow up here in Northern Illinois that has 12 of these cars. Some are parts cars and some are done cars. He has a cross section of large lights and small. I have found some nice bumper cores but with small lights. The cars show Gran Sport badging. Some hardtops, converts and post cars.
