The push in fasteners go on the C-pillar trim pieces. There is a trim clip with nut that go in all the holes
under the back window. Does that help?

I know I'll probably get frowned at for this but I've been wondering how one would look without that particular piece of trim installed. Of course the holes would have to filled.

Dwaine I think it would look better IMHO however that trim piece says GS and my car is a low mile numbers matching car so the trim went back on

I have seen two 65 Gran Sports that did not have that trim. Both were CA cars. See http://65gs.com/board/index.php/topic,1396.0.html for pictures.
