Hi,

I believe most glass was tinted back then unless it was a base model as my 65 Special was that way, don't believe you can get a windshield non-tinted now days

I would go with a tinted one personally as the non-tinted glass will get you in the summer months as my special still has non-tinted side and back glass and it gets very hot in the summer months

Regards,
Jim

Tinted glass was an  option on all Skylark and Special models, including GS. It was even an option even when A/C was ordered.
I've seen non A/C cars with tinted glass and A/C cars with clear glass.
