65 GS's
« on: February 18, 2013, 09:45:11 AM »
I have three 65 GS's and a 65 skylark parts car for sale. You could make at least two good cars, but i think you could make three. These cars are located in Eastern Pennsylvania. I am looking to get around $15,000.00 for all four but i am open to offers. I can be reached at richardberes@comcast.net
Thanks,
Rich

Hi Rich, Good to see you found your way here to 65GS! Sorry to hear you're putting these up for sale.
BTW, Rich is in my area if any potential buyers need me to look at these cars.
I know one of these is a 4 speed car, and I believe the eBay car is 4 speed with AC?

Wow, looking at these reminds me how far mine has come.  PA and NJ winters are hard on cars.  I thought someone snook some pictures of my red car ten years ago at first.

Update:
The white 4 speed GS was sold and went to Virginia. Skylark was sold, and I believe the black GS has a buyer.

The red 4 speed car is back on eBay, ends Sunday night.
It's originally blue mist with saddle interior.... that has got to be a great looking combination!
I looked at it on Saturday. Outside sheetmetal looks good with exception of lower rear quarters... patch panels should cover those.
Trunk and floor needs replacement. Frame has 2 holes, one is caused by a mouse nest.
Block is numbers-matching and is has the correct 3922 carb. Engine turns over and Rich says it was running a short time ago.
4 speed console is in trunk with shift boot retainers, and what could be the original 4 speed shifter (handle looks wrong).
Has some vintage SW gauges in the dash.
I wanted this car bad, but it basically needs a frame-off resto.... and I already have a couple of those!
