Well,...I've crossed the line now! I have decided to join the ranks of a bunch of fun loving 1965 Buick GS enthusiasts all over the world here, on this site! ThanX Chris for kinda/sorta pushing me in this direction! I've known about this site for over a few years and have recently been gettin "pumped-up" about my 65's. EVEN THO this economy kinda stinks, I feel strong in my faith, that things will get better and SOON! I have a 70 Stage 1 4 speed a/c car I am hoping to complete this year then WATCH OUT...BADDABING....the 65 comes out and the work/fun begins! I am looking forward to giving/receiving input about our beloved and well deserved LONG OVERDUE recognition of Buick's introduction into the power-play of motorsports, the 1965 Gran Sport! I read the following posted in a Buick advertisement WAY BACK and I don't know who wrote it but thought it deserves sharing with you all:
"A phenomenon is arising in this country, and in this time, the new American Sporting Machine. They're not like the European sports cars. Not at all. America's machines are bred to American driving: They're big and comfortable, roomy and muscular and at the same time they're amazingly responsive. The epitome of this kind of automobile Buick's GS"
