Gas Pedal
« on: August 10, 2012, 09:04:37 PM »
Am in need of a rubber gas pedal for the convertible restoration. All the repops I have looked at are incorrect for the 65. If you know of a correct one let me know. Prefer an original though. Needs to be nice but not necessarily NOS. Thanks.

Dan - I'll look at the ones in my two donors and see what shape they are in.

Dan - Thought I had two extras but guess only one. Anyway, here is a pic and I took it off this morning. Looks OK but the flap on the bottom is cracked a little on the back side where it flexes.

Dan,

Nice to hear from you !! Are you talking about part # AP64 ? Does look good.

Since its my post I'll hijack it and mention door lock ferrules you were asking about earlier. Found these at Show Cars in New Ulm, MN http://www.show-cars.com/ part number 3924 in the Interiors section. $7.60 a pair.
