I love history and found this series of interviews fascinating
$2.73 an hour. $70 a week room and board, $0.73 for 2 burgers, fries, and a shake from Mc D's!
Some great info on how our cars were really built..... bare or black-painted rears... what kind of paint on the front suspension....stripped bolt on the engine...put another engine in!
This certainly puts a new perspective on the 'correct restoration' standards!

Interesting article. Not to call you out Walt but he was paying $7.00 a week for room and board. I guess it's all relative compared to todays cost of living and earned wages.
