Very original 1965 Skylark up for auction by Raleigh Classics.

Dear mid-60s Buick caregivers who are good judges of "horse flesh" equivalent,

I have subscribed to Hemmings for decades.  These days it is more amusement than an essential resource for parts for my trusty wagon.  Still, it is an "enjoyable read" has the new lingo goes.  On page 24 of the November issue is an ad for the Raleigh Classics auctions.  The auction is scheduled for December 6-7.  Included is 1965 Buick Skylark convertible.  Here is a link to the online auction entry:

https://www.raleighclassic.com/vehicles/2873/1965-buick-skylark-convertible

The car is described as follows: "This 1965 Buick Skylark convertible shows only 63,000 miles on the odometer, and is a three-owner car (Originally purchased from Gardner Buick in Charleston, West Virginia). It has been refinished in the factory-correct “J6” Verde Green with Saddle vinyl convertible top. The interior was also restored to factory specs, and features a code “159” Saddle bucket seat vinyl interior. Under the hood is the original and unrestored 300ci 355 Wildcat V8. The “355” denotes pound-foot of torque and is factory rated at 250 horsepower. This car is nicely equipped, featuring power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, an automatic transmission, push-button factory AM radio, real wood sport steering wheel, and a new set of radial tires."

It certainly will be interesting how this car fares at auction . . . . . . . .

Just one small problem:  Somebody better remember to check after December 7th!  Knowing my bad memory, it is very unlikely to be me!   :dontknow:
