Backup Lights
« on: April 03, 2021, 10:22:33 PM »
Ok.  I give up.  Trying to replace the back up light bulb in my 65 Skylark but my fingers are too big to grip the bulb when its inside the housing.  I can't turn the bulb to lock it in.  Any helpful tips?
Would it be easier to pull out the entire housing and do it on the bench?  Is so, is that easy to do?

We have to replace many bulbs at my work and many of them are small and recessed and hard to get ahold of ! We can’t have broken glass getting them out! So we use tubing and hoses that have a inside diameter that will grip the bulb enough to turn or press them in! We sometimes put small notches in the the very edge to open the hose or tubing to grip the bulb just right! Hope it works for you!
