Obviously, any modification that is completely reversible won't count against your car. Careful camouflage of your modifications is also a good scheme. Finally using modern materials in a way that cannot be noticed provides modern benefits that cannot be noticed.
Basically all these ideas we have already discovered on our own, but it is fresh inspiration nonetheless.
