Nailhead with rebuild tag

Saw this on eBay listing. Seller has an engine removed from a '65 Riviera.
I have not seen, at least on a Buick Nailhead, this before.  It is a remanufacture tag with the specifications and it is riveted to the block.

I hadn't seen any factory rebuild tags until we disassembled the red parts car and found this on the side of the transmission.

I've seen rebuild/remanufacture tags on engines, transmissions and components before.

Thought it was interesting that the engine tag shows the .040 overbore and .010 undersize for main and rod journals. Wonder if the rebuild was from Buick or an independent company.

Not unusual. Many rebuilders rivet on a tag. Faded out lettering probably had the company's ad and contact info.
