Post by: Mark Ascher on April 25, 2011, 09:13:52 AM
MN 65 guys, swap & show at the fairgrounds this coming Sunday.
I thought that Jay said he might be there, Rob, are you going?

I will be there bright & early for the swap meet.
I'll be looking for the rest of you at the show!

Mark,

My brother Brian and I plan on making it down, but we probably won't be driving any of our Buicks. Brian is delivering an interior from a '70 GS to someone there. We'll probably be heading in around 9:30-10:00AM or so and for sure will be checking out the Buicks and the swapmeet.

Brian,

Not sure if you made it down, but the weather was less than ideal. That's putting it mildly.
It was about 32-33F at showtime, with some wicked wind. I made it through the swap meet by about 9 or so, and headed out. I've been going to The TC Roadsters swap in October for decades, and none of those has been as cold as it was today.

One word describes today's weather at that show.  Horrible.  My daughter and I lasted 45 minutes. Worst of all, no 65's (gs's).  The most depressed person there was the girl running the ice cream stand.  The wind died down this afternoon and i took my car out for a short drive.  First run of the year.  Top up.

Yup, cold was an understatement!! I almost bought a couple things at the swap meet, but then I would have had to taken my hands out of my jacket pockets to carry stuff! No gloves, no purchases!
