Stewed over this since I saw it last night and would be a day over and a day back. Just talked to the guy on the phone. Seemed straight forward. He is selling for someone else. Motor has compression issues on the entire left bank. Body is tweaked. Pass side floor pan has some pin holes. Lower rear window leak. Has two right tail lights, no left. Rims are rusted.

Note that the car has a '66 Q-jet intake and carb on it.  Wasn't sure if anyone else paid any attention to that in the pics.   If it has compression issues on one whole bank, it probably has a failed head gasket leaking between cylinders.

Of course I noticed the Q-jet, Brian! :icon_biggrin:
It's a Fremont-built car, has the CA emissions oil breather....  It's a '65 air cleaner,  it won't fit on the Q-jet's larger top, must be why it's in the trunk. I can almost see the extra hole for the breather, but can't be sure....
Has A/C, but fan shroud is missing. I see a flex fan.
Possible speaker in the door...but looks like original radio.
Bucket seats are either very faded saddle , or the wrong color.
Wheels should have gray centers, or did late 65's have black?

Hearing the body is tweaked is not good news. Could mean the frame is too. Panel gaps look okay, is there other damage not shown in the pics?

I like the color combo and A/C
Solid sheetmetal and good chrome are huge selling points, but would have to see it in person to make the call.

I haven't seen many complete GS's advertised in this price range, so it really got my attention.
Welder, I hope it works out for you, keep us posted!

I have a chrome air cleaner assembly to fit a Q-jet.   I think it came off a '66 Riveria.   If someone gets this car and is interested in it, send me a note.

Yea, the thing is kinda funny. When I saw it listed I called momma up to look and all she said was "I guess we can go to Home Depot and get the cheap formica counter tops instead of the granite I wanted" So...guess this car won't end up in Wyoming.

That's actually a really good looking car for the money and someone from here should jump on it if they are looking for one.

Only problem I see is with the users feedback is still low therefore I'd personally make sure to buy this in person or have someone locally go look at it for me and check the title and VIN numbers.
