In my research to track down the various"non-oxy" gas stations in my area, I found two in the twin cities that have 110 octane "low lead" gas they call "racing fuel". It's really expensive (6 bucks/gallon) so I wouldn't fill the tank, but I am wondering if anyone has mixed any of this stuff in their tank. Is there anything about this stuff that actually could harm my car that anyone knows about?
I have spent the past month making little changes here and there such as spark plugs and big changes (new bearings in my rear end), and I'd like to really have it running nice before I put it away for the winter.

It won't hurt your car at all. I mixed 1/2 tank of that fuel in my 70 LTD with 1/3 a tank of 93 octane at the track once and it instantly ran like a new car--was able to advance the timing up like it was supposed to be and everything.

Thanks Brian. You're right. it's smoother and even feels quicker. :cheers2:
