Title: Armrest Bases, interior plastic, rearview mirror base, etc
Post by: wildcat65 on August 18, 2010, 10:34:15 AM
I'm missing everything and how to put it together Buick style.
Any details that are different from a Chevelle 64 and Pontiacs...
My interior guy loves the details and appreciates knowing -before I tell him the buick way  :glasses9:

Hi Ted,

I can't remember if your car was a post or coupe?

Some of the interior parts are a little different (I know you know this but just a catch for anyone else who didnt know that and might have some parts for you).

Truly, it is a Coupe, black interior...just ordered the silver tier pattern headliner and visors.  Looking for detail on the pinch moulding-anything special or ??  I'm going to look at my Skylark sedan for referance, but wondered about the color of the pinch moulding with the silver headliner.

Ted, windlace/pinchmolding is black plastic. I don't know if it's available, but assume it is.
I'll have more info for you later.

There are a couple sizes available aftermarket; I would like to see the original pattern - deeper groove? Slightly bigger?
Thanks!

Ted,

I'm a few hours away from heading to NC and Brian Stone's place.
I can take some pictures and measurements when I get back.
Brian and I can go through some of that at his place, he would probably know!
I think I have a few re-chromable armrest bases. The armrest pads are the hard part.
The rear view mirror base can be had from The Parts Place in Chicago, but I don't have a PN handy.
What else are you looking for?

Mark

Ted. Are you still looking for the mirror base. I have a real decent one. From a 2dr ht.  Has a few small pits. I can send pic.
Need 15 bucks shipped.
