Seems like a bit high since it now has a small block 300 and a 4 spd. The rest of the car would have to be really nice to warrant that kind of money, personally. I'd want to be sure it was really a GS originally.

Just my $.02

Really strange, took out a 401 and put in a 300??? I wonder what happened to the original block? Rust issues? There was a nice "rust free" 65 hardtop Skylark near me that failed to get any bids on Ebay and he was starting at $2500 with a buy it now of $3500. Too much money for that car.

I too would want to verify that it was an original GS.

I'll go look at it this week. Shakopee is about a 15 minute drive from work.

I think I saw this car on Hwy 169 last fall just after I made a delivery in Shakopee. My 65 mph rig could not catch up to it.  :BangHead:

I seem to be able to remember just about any 65 I spot during my travels.  :overthetop: :laughing3:

Most of us are old enough to remember the 'gas crunch' years when gas was over $1 a gallon. (ahhh the good old days!)
I think the price is too high too....$3500 would be more reasonable. But you never know until you look at the car in person. Could be a deal if the original parts are included.
