Hi ,st 300 anyone know of the part #  or where to get a new speedometer gear and oil seal   3:08  posi. Jim

You can look it up in the parts book here. It's a great resource!

The speedo gears are in group 4.337.
The tooth count (39-42) will depend on what size tires you have, 7.75-14's used a 40 tooth driven gear. Figure about a 3mph difference per tooth.
A Google search  for '1362048 gear' shows a price range from $18-$40.

EDIT/Added:
For the oil seal, RockAuto is a great place to look up part numbers to start comparison shopping. It's still best to get the GM number from the Buick Parts book to avoid any errors.
