Dear mid-60s Buick caregivers with a curiosity for all things automotive,
The October issue of Hemming's featured a story on a very unique and French example of a station wagon - the The Citroën ID 20 Break:

My Dad spoke very proudly of this car. As an engineer, he knew something about the technical problems that prevented it from having a flat-6 engine. The diesel version of this engine was finally put into production, but unfortunately, Citroën never got the benefit from the design.
While off-topic, it is certainly an interesting bit of automobile trivia.
