So sometimes people that pass on leave ya really cool and more valuable then cash items! So my buddy
Gil left a really neat historical piece to help with the documentation of our special cars! I would try and talk to him every week . in one of our conversations he said that he had a very unique piece that when I got to visit him out west he wanted me to have. I had kind of forgotten about this , imagine my surprise
when I found this on a recent trip!! Loren will help post it and hopefully also in the gallery under literature!? Might be a minute as there a few technical items with the sight! Stay tuned and be safe!
So this is a key or production sheet that would have been used at the factory during assembly! Mostly likely from Flint or Kansas plants!? The letter codes listed coincided with the codes on the Flint and Kansas body tags! These are done in groups 1-5 ! For example group one letter E is used for tinted glass
all windows! The codes were used by Fisher Body to define the needed additions or alterations to the body build! Hopefully this helps owners to document their cars! Questions!? Just ask !
