Title: Aftermarket Air
Post by: schlepcar on April 24, 2024, 12:12:45 PM
Has anyone used an aftermarket Air Conditioning that works good in a 66-67 style dash? My friend wants air in a non air car and looking for something not too cobbled as far as installation.

Check with Old Air Auto, they might have something. We have that in our 57 Dodge truck, obviously no kit for that but looks and works great. AC is sure a great upgrade!

Thanks Jim,
The car is a 67 but I believe aftermarket is the best way to go. I have converted them using original parts on my own stuff but I don?t want to get into that type of job on someone else?s car. I actually like the old underdash units for a lot of applications but those are getting very pricey and often missing the correct parts. I tried to talk him out of messing with it because it is pretty nice and original.
