Title: 14? arm rest bases and pads!

Cars now has these reproduced in the correct 14? size for many of our cars!

64-67 arm rest bases are now reproduced. Also looks like a better quality arm rest pad is also now made.

Got my Cars order the other day:

Overall - these are great, and I recommend them.

The pads are lightyears beyond the “rubbery” pads that are currently on the market. Nothing is going to be a “Just Dashes” restored set of originals, but these reproductions are great.

The bases - great chrome. Come with the metal clips the mounting screws go thru as well as the red reflective sticker. Only minor flaw is a slight “warping” from where you put your hand - assuming this is a result of using a non-NOS base to make the mold/pattern???. Any rechromed original is going to have this same issue.

Pick up a set - I don’t think you’re going to be disappointed. I am satisfied.

Thanks for the feedback, I have been looking at those chrome bases.

Do you know if the pads come in blue? I could only find black.

Only black. Need to spray them with Sem probably. Will also need to spray the dash pad.

Got my pair of bases on Friday. Definitely really nice pieces. Can't get the originals refinished for the cost of these.

Finally ordered a set of bases, my pads are fine. Installed the other day. Very nice, fit was perfect.
