Happy Saturday folks! As some of you know I recently regained custody of my former 65 GS 3 speed post car. I'm very close to completing my 66 Special project and will be diving into the 65 head first. If you like I can start a build thread here on the 65 board and your tips and critiques would be welcomed.

Yes more pictures please! :hello2: I sure like the blue on your post car! I just got a set of the hard to find belt revel trim for mine and I got a nos set of wheel well trim to brighten it up! But not sure what I’m doing with my post as I blew the motor 3 weekends ago! :violent1: :angry5: Put it away for winter and it’s snowing here right now!

Great project!

Yes please start a thread . The more 3 speed specific pictures the better .

Sure! But some of us like 66's too, so we'd like to see those progress pics as well!
Is your top painted the original code 'E' midnight blue? I'm thinking of painting my '66 GS 3 speed vert project that color, it's originally Y code Cream which I'm not too fond of. But that car was a distraction from the silver 66 4 speed car I was working on, and am now trying to finish up. You know how distractions go...

When John had the window channels repaired he had the top painted the factory color. I'm not a big fan of darker colors so im not sure what I'll do when it comes time for paint.
As far as the 66 Special project is concerned here are a few recent pictures.
