Title: A 65 GS in friends shop
Post by: GranSportSedan on September 16, 2022, 07:47:39 AM
This is a 65 GS in a friends shop. I never noticed the crooked emblems until I saw it mentioned here. Now I look for them.

It could be that the trim piece was put on too high in the front too making the emblem look crooked. It does seem to be 15-20% of the cars have this.

Hi,

Seen a few discussions about this, and 1 thought comes to mind are they using a factory emblem, or aftermarket reproduction as if the post are not in the correct location you're going to have a crooked emblem.

Regards,
Jim

Most that I see are on original unrestored cars so all original parts.
