Post by: elagache on August 30, 2022, 05:26:18 PM
Dear mid-60s Buick parts hounds,

Someone has the base model Special steering wheel for sale on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/275439976450?hash=item4021808002:g:29cAAOSwuihj (https://www.ebay.com/itm/275439976450?hash=item4021808002:g:29cAAOSwuihj)

Certainly not particularly valuable, but it is rare.  I've always been curious to know exactly what they looked like - now I know!  :laughing7:

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:

It is in pretty good shape too, you do not see many of those around!

This NOS steering wheel was sold in June. I wanted it but refrained from bidding.

Hi,

They do seem to fair better than the Deluxe version, also Oldsmobile used the same wheel in 66 maybe other years on the F85

Wish I would have seen that nos one as have a blue interior, and less chips than the one I currently have in my post car.

Regards,
Jim

Dear mid-60s Buick parts hounds,

Mostly a curiosity but there is another base model Special steering wheel on eBay:

As noted earlier in this thread, they do seem to be a bit more durable and they are rare!
