Title: Car Season is Over
Post by: cwmcobra on October 21, 2021, 04:03:48 PM
For me at least.  The Verde Howitzer is tucked in for the winter and I hope very comfortably in a bag in the heated shop!

The bag is a Michigan product and the cover came from Texas.

Can't wait for Spring!  :hello2:

Nice! We got to tour the Covercraft Car Cover facility on the Power Tour one year. I think of them as from Texas but there are actually in Paul?s Valley, OK. Interesting place!

Yeah, no matter what we do around here, we have dust.  And the forced air furnace in the shop blows the warm air from the bottom (there's an interesting visual image  :evil6:), so any dust or dirt on the concrete floor gets blown around and settles on the cars.  Not good for a "show car" finish.  Of the four cars that will share the space over the winter, the Verde Howitzer gets special treatment.

A blessed weekend to all!

Dear Chuck, Jim, Jon, Jim, and mid-60s Buick caregivers,

Sorry Chuck that you need to put your cars away for the winter, but indeed you have done a very careful and thoughtful job to protecting your Verde Howitzer.

In Northern California at least, we normally get along enough dry spells during the winter that we can drive the dust off!

Cheers, Edouard  :occasion14:
