Title: wanted a factory 3 speed shifter

I'm looking to buy a factory 3 speed shifter for a 65GS . Does anyone have one laying around that they swapped out for a hurst which I know is a better shifter but i,m trying to stay original .

found the shifter mechanism/body , just need the handle now .

 Here is a picture of the shifter for a '65 GS with the 3 speed. Maybe it might help in your search.

The repo 65-66 Impala shifter handle isn't too far off except the bend being lower.

Before I found the correct handle for mine I was looking into building a handle! I was going to reuse a correct base off of a chevbie shifter handle and have the handle bent and machined to fit the shifter ball! I have a base here I would donate to your cause if that’s the route you might take!

Thanks Loren Walt and Jon , I have one shifter handle now but need one for the convertible . Jon if I don't find one maybe ill take you up on that offer but I have a little time to look . I'll keep you posted .
