Title: 65 GS rear differential wanted
Post by: 35chevcoupe on August 20, 2021, 12:15:09 AM: possibly looking for a 65 GS rear differential , wondering what's out there . Anyone have any leads or one they want to sell ?

Post by: cwmcobra on August 20, 2021, 06:34:34 AM: What specifically are you looking for John? Posi? Ratio? I have an open 3.08 from the Arkansas car, but suspect that's not what you're looking for....my guess would be a 3.36 Posi.

That's what I did with one of mine! All new parts inside!, nobody pulls your rear cover and looks after all! Parts for these are getting harder to obtain after all! Jim at JDRace is excellent and very knowledgeable check out his website if you get a chance!

Post by: 35chevcoupe on August 20, 2021, 10:52:03 AM: I guess i should be a little more specific , a complete 3.36 with the large bearings would be preferred but i know know they are getting hard to come by .I,m not ruling out a nice housing with an open unit as long as it has the large bearing axles .
Its not a big rush either just looking for a possible future build .
