Removed the fuel filter that I installed years ago and went to the auto supply to get a GF94 filter. What they had was no where near the size of the one needing replacement. The old dirty filter measures about 2 1/2 dia. with 3/8 outlets overall over 4 inches. The new A/C GF94 had a much smaller size and 5/16 outlets. I remember when the car was new the filter was blue with white lettering but cannot remember the actual size but it did fit tight in the mount. The mount for my old filter fits tight and the new filter just floats inside the mount. Does anyone know the actual size of the original GF94 and can a still get one?

There is a six pack of those on ebay. they are from 1988 and the outlets are 5/16 also.

They say outlet is 8MM which converts to 5/16
Here is another one from the 1964. It is 5/16 also

Thanks for the information, must of put something on instead of a Gf94 back in the day. NOS would not be my choice especially with paper inside that old. My gas line is 3/8 and mount holder may have been opened up to handle the larger filter dia.
