Wow!
The awards just keep coming. Following Chuck's fantastic showing with Verde Howitzer, Mark has received a Senior Award for his '65 Gran Sport in the AACA Grand Nationals. Another beautiful GS.
Congratulations Mark!

OUTSTANDING! More hardware for very deserving restoration! :headbang: :occasion14: A rewarding outcome for years of hard work, research, skill, and knowledge! I would say the combined passion, know how, and knowledge of the many people who contributed as stated and also to this site is well over 400 years!!! Rock On! :rocker:

Here is a picture I took at the show. I know the guy with the Amphicar too.

The blotches are from my phone screen. The only way I can post pictures is to take a picture of the picture on my phone. The car looks awesome!

Thanks Jim, and for all of the positive comments. I’ve been having fun driving some the past couple of warm seasons. I think there’s 600 miles on it now! I know, crazy. Will be removing the engine/trans this fall to do some sorting of leaks, and to replace some trim pieces with better parts. They are never finished.

Congratulations Mark,
Receiving an award like that is a tribute to hard work and dedication. How about you posting some pics of your car for those of us that have never seen it.

Hi Lou,
The iPhone format for images won’t allow me to post them. Since I retired, all of my software for playing with images went away. There is a thread on the restoration in Projects and Restorations, you might want to look that up. Last posted in prob 2014 or 2015.
