Title: Battery

Hey guys. Looking for a new battery. Have an Exide group 34 now which is on the way out. The physical size does not fit as it should. The clamp has about a quarter of an inch gap. What are you guys using? Would prefer a GM .

Group 24 (not 24F) fits perfectly for me.  Last one I bought was an AC Delco at Menard's.

I am heading in to Advance to get a new group 24 Die Hard next week for mine.

Summit has a group 24 AC Delco Battery for $100 shipped.  I shopped around and that was the best I could find.  Unfortunately, the first one was on back order for a week and then damaged in shipping by UPS.  The second one was sent out from Nevada as there were none in Ohio. Thursday, that one was on the truck for delivery by FedEx (we tried another carrier), but it was returned for inspection to the local FedEx station for inspection. It is now listed as an exception with no delivery date. This might be a great cheap battery, but three weeks later I cant tell you a thing about it!
