Something sticky got on the sun visors of our 66 GS convertible. Maybe tree sap or something but anyway normal cleaners are not removing the stickiness. Anyone have recommendations for a cleaner that will work but not be too harsh on the blue vinyl?

WD-40 works well on vinyl and will remove tree sap.
Then use Windex and follow up with plain water.
Try to avoid the stiching as best you can.
A fingernail brush helps get the grain clean.

A couple of other ideas for you.
Enamel reducer or white gas [Coleman camp fuel] are usually safe for leather and vinyl. I use them in the upholstery shop when necessary to remove glue. Also, the soft part of velcro works really well. Not the scratchy hook part, but the softer loop part is really good to get into the recesses of materials. Be careful of using cleaners like 409. Sometimes they can be too strong and affect color.
