I am looking at getting my Harrison radiator recorred and wanting to know if it is a correct for my 65 gs 4 speed, the tag on it has the # 3005227-r127 . I believe it is original to the car. Any help appreciated

The subject has came up before and I do not have a definitive answer. If Marxjunk has a tAg on his it may help. On my restoration thread.....Seeing some progress finally...on page 4,,,I have a close up of my radiator tag that matches yours. Only problem is this was not the original radiator from my car,but was definitely from a 65 GS. I have been told that they were same stick or automatic and simply did not use the cooler. So,you definitely have a 65GS Harrison radiator, but is it 100% same for manual transmission?

Parts book states that there are only two radiators for 65-66 GS's non a/c , and one for a/c the a/c ones would have curved necks on the inlet/ outlet to go around the shroud! Block offs where used for the auto trans cooler in stick cars! I had a parts car that had a two core replacement style radiator!? Not sure may have been a old recore? These cars are over 50 years old!

Here's a picture from a radiator that came out of a 65 GS. This is one I acquired, so I'm not sure of its history. It doesn't look like an original tag to me, since it says "Hawthorn Radiator".
Have you seen others like this?

Did we ever determine if 65 Skylarks or GS's had radiator ID tags?
I see repro's for other models and makes.
